Should you buy your wedding album from me, or create your own?
As beautiful as the bride and groom are on their wedding day, and all of the love that is between them, I capture so much more than this.
I have had couples call me and tell me that they were so thankful I captured them hugging their grandma, because it was the last time they saw her. I've had couples tell me they were surprised when they saw the picture of their brother with tears in his eyes during the ceremony, because he is always so tough.
The flowers at a wedding only last one day, or maybe a few days, but my photographs of those flowers, and all the other details I capture, will last forever.
Needless to say, the photographs from a wedding are very special and important, and they only become more valuable as time passes.
How will you store and showcase your photos? You may choose to get all the digital photos, and then never get an album or wall art. Or, you may print some photos yourself to hang in your home, and a few to give away to family and friends.
But what about a cohesive representation of your full wedding day?
You're unlikely to be talking to a friend and say, "let me pull up my wedding gallery on the computer for you to sit and look through the 500+ photos of me, my friends, and family on my wedding day."
That's where a wedding album comes in. You, your spouse, your parents, your friends, your children, and your grandchildren will appreciate having an album to hold, to view and savor the very best photos that tell the story of your wedding day.
Some couples think, "why should I buy an album from you if I can make one myself?"
I've created a short reference sheet for you on the pros and cons of creating your own wedding album. Hint - the only pro is the money you'll save. But the COST of creating your own wedding album is much greater.
